“This is cute, not WILD. Help me out!” it said. When we saw the photo we just had to pull out all the stops to help this cute girl out - it was time for a makeover!

Karin was invited to Make Up Store where Greta Sjöbom took care of the first part of the transformation from mild to wild. The focus for the wild look is on eyes and to really mark them out. One of the current looks is to go further up towards the eye brow with the make up (think Amy Winehouse as an extreme), and also to darken the eye brows more. The rest of the face should be left rather neutral with soft and quite natural colored lips.

Lipstick is definitely making a comeback and this, together with a lip pencil, are crucial items in every woman’s handbag this season. Do remember though, either accentuate the eyes or the lips, never ever both together or you’ll look like a hooker (and a cheap one at that)

Like most Swedish girls; Karin is blond with pale skin. A common mistake by these girls is that they don’t use enough colors but try to make everything blend in with their skin tone. Be a bit more daring and use darker colors, especially on the eyes. This will give fabulous results and really bring out something new.

After the make up session, it was time to do something about the hair so on we went to Urban by Björn Axén where Top stylist Josefin Hedman went to work. She added some new fresh color and  focused on volume (what the heck do Swedish girls have against volume??) The look was complete and instead of the cute girl we met three hours earlier, we had a lioness standing in front of us!

A lot of Swedish women are very cautious to do a cooler and more distinct look when at work and we ask why? We spend a lot of time at work, meeting colleagues and clients and this look will certainly make people see you as well as become more attentive, so go for it girls!!

We cannot thank Make Up Store and Urban by Björn Axén enough. Though this makeover took a while; Greta and Josefin sure showed that even with a few simple tricks it is possible to make yourself a lot cooler. A big thank you to Karin as well – our new lioness - rrrrrroar!
