What the designer says: My plan was to move forward. I knew the collection had to be about bruises, but I did not know why. Then I lost someone close to me and I fell 15 steps, all the way down to the first floor. Instead of moving forward I was back in the past, bruised from losing her.
What we say: The low hanging chandeliers, good music and phenomenal models do make this a beautiful show. I like that Sandra pulls it off with all knitted garments but... it will be hard to put off even at the swankiest party - this is a show piece. Even though, it is nice to see these extremely creative designers bring in new inspiration to a rather commercial industry.
